The Art of Trusting Yourself 🌙

The High Priestess: Listen Within and Find Clarity

A woman meditating on a quiet beach, embodying calm, presence, and deep inner listening.

There’s a moment we all reach…

Where we’ve read enough.

Thought enough.

Asked enough people.

And somehow… we feel more confused, not less.

We tell ourselves we just need a little more clarity.

One more answer.

One more sign.

But the High Priestess reminds us of something simple and quietly radical:

We’re not lacking information.

We’re disconnected from our own knowing - our intuition.

🌙 And the way back isn’t louder. It’s softer.

  1. We Don’t Need More Information — We Need More Stillness 🕊️

It’s easy to believe the answer is “out there.”

Another article.

Another opinion.

Another late-night spiral of trying to figure it out.

But when we keep searching, what we’re often doing is drowning out our own voice. 🌸

The High Priestess doesn’t gather more.

She creates space.

Because clarity doesn’t come from adding more noise.

It comes from removing it.

We’ve all felt it:

  • Refreshing something over and over, hoping for certainty

  • Going in circles with the same thoughts

  • Feeling mentally full, but not actually clear

That’s not a lack of answers.

That’s overstimulation.

And the shift is simple:

Instead of asking, “What else do I need to know?”

We get quiet. Get Still. And gently ask,

“What do I already know… that I’m not listening to?”

  1. The Answer Is Quiet 🪷

Intuition doesn’t rush us.

It doesn’t argue.

It doesn’t panic.

It’s not the loud voice trying to convince us.

💕 It’s the soft one that’s already there.

A feeling.

A pull.

A quiet sense of, “this way.”

And because it’s so subtle, we often overlook it.

We’ve been taught to trust what is:

  • urgent

  • logical

  • externally validated

But the High Priestess shows us something different:

The real answer feels calm.

It feels simple.

It doesn’t need to prove itself.

We might notice:

  • The calm answer we keep second-guessing

  • The option that feels right, but we can’t explain why

  • The quiet “no” we keep overriding

That’s it.

Not dramatic.

Not overwhelming.

Just… steady.

And when we slow down enough to feel it, it’s been there the whole time.

  1. We Stop Asking Everyone Else 🌿

There’s nothing wrong with support.

But there’s a difference between connection… and outsourcing our knowing.

We’ve all done it:

  • Asking multiple people the same question

  • Looking for someone to confirm what we already feel

  • Hoping someone else will decide for us

And each time we do that, we send ourselves a subtle message:

“I don’t trust myself yet.”

The High Priestess gently invites us back.

Not by forcing a decision—

but by remembering:

The answer isn’t in more voices...

💗 It’s in returning to our own.

A simple way we can practice this:

We pause.

We get quiet—even for a moment.

And we ask:

“If I already knew… what would I choose?”

We don’t analyze it.

We don’t debate it.

We just notice what rises.

And even if we’re not ready to act on it yet, we begin to honor it.

That’s how trust is rebuilt.

đź’ť The Remembering

The High Priestess doesn’t rush. She doesn’t chase clarity.

She trusts that it will come—because it comes from within. 🌷

When we embody her, something shifts:

  • The pressure softens

  • The urgency quiets

  • The need to figure everything out fades

And in its place…

There’s space.

There’s calm.

There’s a quiet return to ourselves.

We realize:

We were never actually lost.

We were just listening everywhere else but here.

And when we come back… The answer is already waiting for us.

The High Priestess Tarot card showing a serene woman seated between two pillars, symbolizing intuition, inner wisdom, and spiritual insight.
The High Priestess in stillness - listening within, surrendering and trusting her intuition.

The High Priestess teaches us to listen. To trust what rises without forcing it. To find clarity not through effort - but through stillness.

But knowing is not the final step.

Because once we trust what we feel... we're asked to nurture it.

To bring it into the world with care, softness, and intention.

Next, we meet the Empress - where inner knowing becomes creation, where self-trust becomes self-nourishment, and where what we've discovered within... begins to grow. 🪴
